Today's blog entry is in honor of my friend Lisa, who celebrates her birthday today (Your gift is totally in the mail, Lisa). To celebrate, I thought I'd share two fun things you can get in metro Detroit on your birthday. 

Catching Fireflies, Berkley and Rochester. Present your valid driver's license at the time of your purchase and you'll get 20% off your total purchase. To read the fine print, click here. 

Naka, Ferndale. Sign up on Naka's in-store mailing list and you'll receive an honest-to-goodness card from them (awesome). Bring that card in during the month of your birthday and you'll receive 10% off your entire purchase. (Regrettably, you can only use the card once that month so stock up.) Thanks for spreading the word about the catching fireflies birthday discount... after you pick up a few goodies with us, you can also get 20% off your entire purchase at City Style just right down the street.  What more could a girl want?
