Write out Your "Love List"
A few weeks ago, my mom gave me a copy of an Oprah article called, “The Love List.” In it, an older single woman writes down 100 things she wants in a man, even down to his gray socks. When her future husband read the list five years later, he said he had all the qualities but two.
Now this might seem like a “Chicken Soup for the Soul” story or my mom desperately trying to marry me off, but I’ve heard many people use “the list” for anything they want: jobs, vacations, a dream house, children (just kidding).
The author of the Oprah article called it a “request into the universe.” I’m not saying you whip up a few ingredients and then poof! Your wish comes true. But people say once you know exactly what you want, and you write it down, you may subconsciously seek it out.
My 17-year-old sister tried out the future mate list first. “Inner rebel,” “monotheistic,” and “wears rings” were a few. I started with “humor” and “good arms.” I’m still working on it.
Whether you want to list 100 things to accomplish before you die or what kind of job you want, these lists can help. Why not try? Maybe an inner rebel with ringed fingers will walk into my sister’s life (hopefully not). Send me some of your lists, I’d love to see them!

Vision Board
Have you also done the "vision board"? I want to make one. You cut and paste magazine photos of things you envision for your life to help the universe rise up to meet you. It's a SECRET thing, I guess.

GET LIT...
I've done this!
Number one on my list was "must be an inner-geek/nerd/dork, and not be afraid to admit it"
As well as other things: 'must not have smelly feet', ' won't get mad if I pick up the tab at dinner', and 'has an undying love for his family'.
