Capture spring images in Heritage Park, and learn how to use the
seven points of focus/framing, control depth of field, look at light,
and study how it moves and changes color. Reflectors will be used
to enhance natural light. Be sure to dress for the outdoors,
and bring a 35mm or digital camera.

Socialize, exercise and gain experience while lending a hand at the parks, especially at the nature centers and golf courses. Volunteers who reach a designated number of hours receive a Metroparks annual permit, free use of some facilities and an invitation to recognition dinners in the parks. Volunteer for a single project or on an ongoing bais.

This exhibition presents the social history of the Barbie doll, as well as trivia about her. Dearborn collector Helen Mamalakis shares her Barbie collection. The exhibit includes one of the earliest dolls from 1961, to illustrate the evolution of one of America’s most popular toys.
