Where: The 13 Metroparks in southeast Michigan

Socialize, exercise and gain experience while lending a hand at the parks, especially at the nature centers and golf courses. Volunteers who reach a designated number of hours receive a Metroparks annual permit, free use of some facilities, and an invitation to recognition dinners in the parks. Volunteer for a single project or on an ongoing basis.

The 26^th annual exhibition features a range of works created by Michigan-based artists of various print techniques.

Explore art exhibits, art demonstrations and other events in downtown Northville on the first Friday of each month. Participating stores and galleries will stay open late to let you browse, and complimentary hors d’oeuvres and beverages will be available at many stops along the walk.

Where: St. Clair Shores Country Club

Playwright and novelist A.R. Gurney’s Love Letters, a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize, will be the first in a series of plays at the St. Clair Shores Country Club’s new dinner theater. Love Letters follows the relationship between two friends that spanned 50 years, through their letters. The menu will consist of a three-course meal, with four entrées available. Reservations are recommended.
