Where: The 13 Metroparks in southeast Michigan

Socialize, exercise and gain experience while lending a hand at the parks, especially at the nature centers and golf courses. Volunteers who reach a designated number of hours receive a Metroparks annual permit, free use of some facilities, and an invitation to recognition dinners in the parks. Volunteer for a single project or on an ongoing basis.

Register to golf all day at participating courses that will waive greens fees for the day, allowing registered golfers to raise $315,000 for the National MS Society.

Shades of Green: art Rescued, Recovered, Reworked, Repurposed features artwork with a “green” message from local and regional artists, such as Patricia Izzo, among others. The artwork ranges from oil paintings and fine art photography to sculptures and furniture.
