Where: The 13 Metroparks in southeast Michigan

Socialize, exercise and gain experience while lending a hand at the parks, especially at the nature centers and golf courses. Volunteers who reach a designated number of hours receive a Metroparks annual permit, free use of some facilities, and an invitation to recognition dinners in the parks. Volunteer for a single project or on an ongoing basis.

Register to golf all day at participating courses that will waive greens fees for the day, allowing registered golfers to raise $315,000 for the National MS Society.

Playwright Carey Crim’s Growing Pretty follows Lucy Keen as she deals with her quirky family, having a boy for a best friend, love and self-image. Lucy discovers that the rocky road of being 12 soon transforms into the freedoms of adulthood as she attempts to become an artist.
